The Clean Finish Podcast

Summer is near and we are inching towards one of our most anticipated PPVs with Forbidden Door just around the corner. But first! Greg talks about the Todd Macfarlane adaptation Spawn and Ryan takes a nostalgia trip with Danny Boyle's The Beach. Then, we do things a little different this week, and jump right into Collision. What matches stood out...if any? What do the guys think about the build-up to Forbidden Door, the CMLL crossover, Johnny TV's pants and more!

On Ryan's first day off in weeks, the guys trudge their way through a Collision and Dynamite that left them both scratching their heads. But not until Ryan discusses aughts phenomenon The O.C. and recent read pertaining to the steamy teen soap and Greg discusses the melancholy glorious weirdness of I Saw The T.V. Glow. Then, they both discuss the mystifying frustration of AEW's post DOUBLE OR NOTHING weekly shows.

Greg finally back from Italy (or is it Spain) and just in time to discuss AEW's flagship PPV, DOUBLE OR NOTHING! Before getting into the Vegas spectacle, Greg details some of his trip as well as his thoughts on Furiosa, where Ryan stumbled across Micki & Maude. Then, how did the guys feel about the PPV overall? What finishes worked and which ones stumbled? Which match was their favorite? Tune in to find out all of this and more.

Before exploring the post Dynasty weekly shows, Ryan and Greg check in on two drastically different venues of entertainment: the Wolverine comic book and the movie Drive. No, not that Drive. Then, they jump into this weeks Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. How did they feel about the start of the Swerve title run, the return of much missed wrestlers, and the main events? All this and more!

Before Greg and Ryan discuss the first Dynasty, Greg touches back in with ACOTAR and Ryan discusses new horror entry Late Night With The Devil. Then, the guys get into Dynasty and what they though about it as a whole. What matches worked, what didn't, and did they really dislike anything?

Is the debate settled? Does Greg hate fun? It may all hinge on his thoughts of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Ryan, on the other hand, watch the incredibly 90's failed pilot for Generation X. Did it deserve a series? Then, the guys spend some time discussing the footage but mostly delve into all of the wrestling from this weeks AEW. Which match was their favorite, who earned some cred in Ryan's book, and who drove Greg to the near point of insanity? Tune in for all of this and more.

Ryan watched Blow Out and Greg caught Love Lies Bleeding, and has questionable opinions about Ready or Not. Then, Greg discusses his live attendance at the newest Dynamite and the guys do an in-depth dive of the wrestling world right now. Especially...all that CM Punk drama.

After a brief diversion into Lord of the Rings, Ryan hypes up the new Road House and Greg gives an old VHS some love. That's right, he watched Firestorm. Then the guys discuss the three hour long Dynamite and Rampage show, both on Wednesday for the first time! How do they feel about the extra hour? Which match was their favorite? Where is MJF? All this and more explored on this episode!
