The Clean Finish Podcast

Some real interesting picks for the movies this week. Bet you never thought you'd hear us talk about Noah, did you? Then...AEW REVOLUTION 2024! The guys cover Stings retirement match, a possible match of the year, and overall feelings on one of AEW's Big Four PPVs.

Here we are again, on the road to Revolution, and just a step away from our one year anniversary! Before tackling the Revolution card, Greg discusses Dragonslayer and the best named dragon in cinema while Ryan watched the new Sandler Netflix flick, Spaceman. Then, the guys break down the entire card of AEW, including Zero Hour. What belts do they hope switch hands, who do they hope returns, and more!

No movie discussion this week. Instead...books! Greg discusses the mega-popular first entry of Sarah J. Maas's Court series while Ryan details dark folk horror Lapvona. Then, the guys break down Dynamite and Collision, just one week away from Revolution! Which matches underwhelmed us? The answers might surprise you.

In one of our monthly detours, the guys each crafted a list of ten of their favorite Stephen King movies (or miniseries, or tv movies, you get it.) But first! They discuss the much maligned Madame Web, part of the ever-evolving convoluted Sony Spider(ish)verse. Then, see what did and didn't make the cut and stay until the end to hear some of their least favorites as well.

Greg returns to movies this week with a Laika original, Kubo and the Two Strings. Ryan has combatted a flu with a...Firestorm? Plus, the guys dive into a solid week of wrestling across three shows. Check it out to hear how the Road to Revolution is being paved, how the CMLL fued is going, and more!

After the wildest intro yet, Greg discusses a fantastic movie in Burt Lancasters The Train while Ryan shares opposite sentiments about John Cena vehicle Freelance. Then, a discussion on...WWE?! The guys briefly dive into their thoughts on some WWE events before getting into a middling Dynamite, a banger Collision and, well, wait and see what Greg thinks of Rampage. All that and more!

While Ryan starts with a chat on The Greatest Night in Pop doc on Netflix, Greg gushes (rightfully so) about Tekken 8, the newest and perhaps best of the longstanding fighting game franchise. Then, the guys get into a surprisingly diverse top 10 films list from last year. Check it out to see what did (and DIDN'T make the cut), plus...what was the movie they both disliked the most?

The boys spend some time talking about...coffee? Then Greg details his newest read, Little Heaven by Nick Cutter, before Ryan jumps into indie horror darling Where The Devil Roams. Then, wrestling! Tune in to see what we think of the build to Revolution, the return of Thunder Rosa, and the womens division in AEW. All this and more!
